Description of Programs and Groups

Presbyterian Youth Connection--Grades 7 and up
Youth Connection meets regularly on Sunday nights following the fellowship potluck dinners and Saturday nights following Coffee House plays for Game nights.  We also plan ski trips, service projects and retreats.

Summer Youth Connection
The summer youth group meets Wednesdays (7:00 for grades 5&6) and 8:00 for grades 7 and up) and Sundays after worship for games and trips during June and July.

Youth Worship
Youth in grades 5 and up meet with volunteer leaders in Room 2 during worship at least once per month to plan the Christmas Pageant and the Worship Service for Youth in June.

Junior Deacons
With Deacons, Junior Deacons in grades 5 and up learn to serve others by ushering during worship and helping with Junior Church, the nursery and other special service projects.

Service Club
Youth in grades 7 and up work together doing projects for the church, neighborhood, and the wider community on Wednesdays during the school year from 5-6:00.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation Class meets with the Pastor and the Christian Educator on Sunday mornings for three weeks in the Fall (learn about the church), three weeks in the Winter(learn about mission), and three weeks in Spring(prepare a faith statement).  They participate in worship, have a retreat, and commit to church membership on Palm Sunday.
