Riverdale Presbyterian Church supports a wide variety of national, inter-national and local mission organizations. Thank-you to members of the Mission Committee, chaired by Bill Cammack for all their efforts. If you have any ideas or suggestions concerning our Mission giving, feel free to contact Bill.
Our 2007 Youth Mission Trip took our Senior High youth to Faith Advocates Serving Together (FAST), Alderson, WestVirginia, where they refurbished housing for the poor residents of the area.
Our 2007 Special Mission Offering once has been used to support the victims of hurricanes
to the south. We have also raised funds to establish a Refugee Relief Fund to assist families of our Church–who are new to us, and our nation–settle into our community. We have two
families of our Church who are in America having been granted political asylum.
